Our products distribute beverages to multiple containers with Equal Pours that are fast, fair and fun to use and watch.
Our Two Pours is a favorite with couples who enjoy that special bottle of Champagne or wine. The family Multi-Pours set allows up to four pours at once and is very popular with the young ones because they love to watch the action as their glasses fill.
Restaurants provide pouring fun for their customers with two, three, or four pour units, helping servers save time on refills when diners want to use it on their own.
All Pouring Fun Products are hand made using environmentally safe, biodegradable corn starch based materials.
How we began...
The first Pouring Fun Product, Equal Pours for Two, happened as a joke and turned out to be more than expected.
The creator was dining out with a particular couple who always share a bottle of wine between themselves. He and his wife would usually do the same. The unique thing about the couple is that after dinner, usually on the way home, they would bicker about who got the most wine, with the wife usually complaining about getting “the short pour”.
After about the 100th time this happened, he made a goal to find a way to solve the argument once and for all. Being a retired small business owner he had acquired a 3D printer after reading about the shortage of Covid face shields for hospital workers and emergency response workers and that 3D printing hobbyists were helping out world wide. He went to their Facebook page and found out what was needed and happily helped out in his community.
Well, after the commercial supply caught up with the demand, there was not much to do with the printer, until he decided to stop the “short pour battle”. He did a search all over the internet for a solution but there was nothing that came close to what he thought would help and that’s when making something himself became the quest.
He had in mind a simple design that would have a funnel with a couple of spouts. Well it didn’t take long, making prototypes with the 3D printer, to discover why no one had done it before. It took over a month and dozens of iterations, a deep study into liquid flow and vortex suppression, to get something that worked nearly 100% of the time.
He couldn’t wait to introduce it at the next dinner with the couple, but his wife was concerned about insulting them and they finally decided to invite them over to their house and avoid any embarrassing reaction in a public restaurant.
When they all sat down at the table he put the couple’s glasses together, and placed his invention on top and began to pour. Fortunately, they immediately broke out into an insane laughter that lasted the whole night. After explaining that they were the light bulb behind the idea, they insisted they had to take it home to show it off and share with other couples.
It wasn’t long before he started getting requests to make more. That got his printer busy again. When it became obvious that the Equal Pours had some market value, he submitted a patent for the engineering that makes it work and... purchased 4 more printers. Pouring Fun Products was born.
In less than a year the original invention expanded into several additional products… 3 Pours, 4 Pours, Multi Pours for the Home and Pours kits for Servers.
